Allana Ferguson bio

Allana competed for Australia during Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries forced her to be absent for a few seasons, before she switched back to Rugby League. Allana made her debut as a woman in the rugby league against Queensland in New South Wales. Allana can also be found as a frequent radio personality, appearing regularly as part of 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana, who is not only a sporty person and a teacher, but has also earned a a degree in education and has a vast experience beyond sports. Allana Ferguson holds the rare privilege of representing Australia in three sports, rugby sevens along with touch and rugby league. Jillaroos star Allana Ferguson has been forced to bring an early ending to her rugby league career following a tear to her ACL four times. Ferguson aged 25 had previously experienced tears to the same ligament in her teens or 17 years old, and then 20 and a 4th tear meant her playing days were over. Ferguson, the JILLAROOS' playmaker has been forced to leave the team in the midst of training due to a fourth left ACL injury. Ferguson had an injury to her ACL last November while in training.
