Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actress best known for playing Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy show that ran from 2015 until current. The actress was previously recognized for playing the role of a 13-year-old Lebanese-American girl Jasira Maroun, who is undergoing emotional and traumatic experiences against the context of the U.S. war in Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. In 2007, she was selected by Variety to be one of their 10 actors they wanted to see. She was also a key character in 2009's crime thriller Crossing Over. For this actress, she won a nomination in the Independent Spirit Award under the category of the Best Female Leading.
